wxWidgets provides functionality to do drag and drop between its various UI widgets. One widget is designated as the source and another widget is designated as target. You can transfer data between the source and target . This data can be of two types – text strings or files. Based on that we use either a wxTextDropTarget or wxFileDropTarget
